Classical Art Designed for Photographers

I’m really fond of design principles in photography, and recently I’m studying the matter even more. I consider photography a means of expression, but to be effective the photographer has to know the “grammar” of art.

Today I’d like to share with you a video shot by B&H featuring the photographer Adam Marelli. In this video Adam talks about the principles of design in photography, showing examples from the masters. Adam also discusses some of his own work to show this isn’t just theory, and how you can actually apply design principles in real world photography.

I hope you enjoy this lecture!
