I’ve stumbled upon this delicious short film about Vivian Maier, the nanny photographer. In the film, a fictional Vivian Maier talks about herself, her life and her photography after her death.
Vivian Maier’s photography has been discovered in 2007 and published posthumous, as she never shared her massive body of work during her lifetime. Maier is an example of a photographer shooting for herself, for the sake of exploring and documenting the world, the society and herself, not aiming to be recognized as an artist. Her photography has a classic and elegant view of the world she explored and the people she met.
